Surfing is a highly recommended activity to do when in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, so make sure you signup for Surf Lessons. The locals treat surfing as almost a religion, and it's an experience you wouldn't want to miss out on. You'll be glad to know that our certified surf instructors are experts in the waves of Tamarindo - they know the currents like the back of their boards. With a lifetime of experience, they have mastered the art of riding waves, assessing them, and teaching you how to ride them too. However, don't be fooled into thinking that it's easy, as it takes practice to get the hang of it. But don't worry, and our instructors will guide you every step of the way. You'll be surprised at how much fun you'll have, and it's all worth it! Also, did you know that you won't need a wetsuit in Costa Rica? That's one less thing to worry about! Once you catch your first wave, the adrenaline rush will leave you wanting more. Cancellation policy
To cancel an activity or service and receive a refund (only applies when the total is paid), you must do so at least 48 hours before the start time. Canceling within 48 hours will result in a 50% refund, and no refund will be provided if you cancel within 24 hours of the start time. Please note that rescheduling may be possible, and all deposits are non-refundable.

• Guide/instructor (Spanish and English spoken).

• Surfboard and equipment needed.

• Normally a morning and/or afternoon lesson, and is based on the tide for that day.

• Public, Semi-public, & Private lessons are available at booking.

• Extra cash for tips is always welcomed and very appreciated by the guides and staff.

• Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time, the tour will leave without you if you miss it.
