If you're looking for a quick and convenient way to travel to the Nicoya Peninsula, consider taking a trip over the ocean on the taxi boat, that should take just over an hour to get you to the small town of Montezuma or Santa Teresa. Once you arrive, you'll find that it's a popular destination known for its beautiful, remote beaches. If you're planning to continue on to Santa Teresa, you'll find that shuttles are readily available to transport you there from Montezuma. Additionally, taxi boats are available daily for those looking to travel to and from Jaco Costa Rica. Be sure to check the schedules to ensure you don't miss your ride!

Important information
• On trip per day (during peak season sometimes a second trip is operated, we will adjust when active).
• Pickup/dropoff in Santa Teresa is available (select at booking).
• Boat ride is about 1 hour, make sure you wear sunscreen as the sun will be hot!
• Extra cash for tips is always welcomed and very appreciated by the guides and staff.

No complaints here, this is the quickest way to get to the Nicoya Peninsula. Perfect if your headed to Montezuma, Cobano, or Santa Teresa. It was about 1 hour ride from beach to beach!

The taxi boat is a reliable way to travel, they show up on time, and the boat is clean and comfortable. I enjoy the ride from beginning to end. We even encounter some whales on the way back to Jaco! It was beautiful. This is a great way to travel fast to Montezuma and enjoy some time there or continue your way to Santa Teresa.
