Surfing is a highly recommended activity in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, so sign up for Surf Lessons. The locals treat surfing as almost a religion, an experience you would want to experience. You’ll be glad to know that our certified surf instructors are experts in the waves of Tamarindo – they know the currents like the back of their boards. With a lifetime of experience, they have mastered the art of riding waves, assessing them, and teaching you how to ride them. However, be aware of thinking that it’s easy, as it takes practice to get the hang of it. But don’t worry; and our instructors will guide you every step of the way. You’ll be surprised at how much fun you’ll have, and it’s all worth it! Also, did you know you won’t need a wetsuit in Costa Rica? That’s one less thing to worry about! Once you catch your first wave, the adrenaline rush will leave you wanting more. Let our instructors show you why surfing is such a huge part of Costa Rican culture and why it’s worth learning.

Important Information

• Normally a morning and afternoon lesson, and is based on the tide for that day.
• Public, Semi-public, & Private lessons are available at booking.
• Extra cash for tips is always welcomed and very appreciated by the guides and staff.
• Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time; the tour will leave without you if you miss it.
